I just love receiving e-mails and seeing
pictures of my family! You make me so happy! I have come to realize
just how lucky and blessed I am to have a family like mine. Having
parents who really love each other and have stayed together is a rarity in the
world today. I am so grateful that we all love each other so much and are
willing to do anything to spend time together. I really love you,
family. I can really feel your prayers and love and support. I am
so lucky to have such an incredible support system. Your love for me
helps me to in turn share more love with others. The love just grows and
gets passed on. Thank you family for loving me, loving each other and loving
the Lord.
Well, the mission is fantastic. I have learned and grown so much and i am so excited and grateful that half of 2013 I will still be serving the Lord full time! I wish I could go until 2014- hey maybe they will make an announcement next general conference that sisters can now serve for two years!!!! I absolutely love telling people on the street and in their homes and in the grocery store that Christ lives and His church has been restored and we will live with our families again some day! This gospel just fills my soul with so much joy and FIRE to share it with others!!! I won´t lie, this week has maybe been one of the most frustrating weeks on my mission so far, but I also had one of the most amazing experiences. Have any of you read ´O ye that Embark´ by Elder Eyring, G.C. Nov. 2008? Well, I am pretty sure he gave that talk just for me so I could read it this week. I am 99% positive that the talk was written personally for me. When I read it this week I felt a hug from Heavenly Father and I was filled with joy and gratitude for the experiences that I am having and I received direction to know how to help those around me. I Love those personal communications with Heavenly Father. It is such a privilege to be able to receive revelation to strengthen myself but to also strengthen those around me. This is the best work EVER!!! This week I prayed to know how to help an investigator that was baptized by the Elders last transfer but didn´t receive the Holy Ghost. I felt to look back in my journal and I opened to my general conference notes. I read part of what President Monson said- he had given a challenge that I totally had forgotten to do! He challenged everyone to make an inventory of the miracles and blessings in our life- great and small. So I repented and started on my inventory. I also felt impressed to help the investigator to do the same thing. So that night we had a lesson with him and had him (and us) write some desires we have in life and some blessings. And we talked about how the Lord respects our desires and wants to bless us with them- so our blessings depend a lot on our desires. we read Alma 29:4. And it was awesome! We really felt the spirit and I think the investigator really realized what he wanted in life and how the gospel makes all the difference. He told me he will get back into the church. I am hoping and praying and will continue to do what I can for that to happen. I challenge all of you to start working on President Monson´s challenge. As I have started I have been uplifted and remembered sweet child hood experiences. I testify that God loves us- we are His children and He wants us back. Let´s do all we can to get back to Him!!! Transfers are next week. We will see what happens. I haven´t stayed in an area longer than 2 transfers so I am a bit nervous. I LOVE Braga so very very much. I love the members, I love all the people here. Love love love. Love really is the key to EVERYTHING. I am so grateful for the Love the Lord has helped me feel and helped others feel through me. I am so grateful to be an instrument. I love you all with my whole heart!!! I know this is the true church. Christ lives. hallelujah!!! HURRAH FOR ISRAEL!!!
